Hi, I’m Michelle — a designer who thrives at the intersection of creativity and functionality. With a background in fine arts and interaction design, I’ve always enjoyed merging aesthetics with functionality to create user-centred experiences.
Born in China, raised in Canada, and briefly studying in the U.S., my diverse cultural experiences have shaped how I see the world and approach design. I bring empathy and a unique perspective to every project. At the heart of my design philosophy is communication. I believe connecting with others is the most fascinating aspect of human interaction. It’s this belief that drives me to create designs that not only function well but also resonate deeply with users.

Cooking & Eating
I’ve loved cooking since I was young, and nothing makes me happier than seeing the satisfied smiles of people enjoying my food. For me, food is a source of creativity and connection, it brings people together.
Baking
I love baking because it lets me create beautiful things to share with friends and family. There's nothing better than seeing people’s reactions and hearing their compliments after they take a bite of my cake, It always gives me a great sense of accomplishment.
Drawing
I’ve been drawing and painting with different mediums—like sketching, oil pastels, and watercolor—for as long as I can remember. It’s less of a hobby and more of a habit I’ve developed since childhood through years of art study. This foundation in aesthetics is why I’m so dedicated to making my designs visually pleasing.
Crafting
I love working with my hands—whether it’s twisting pipe cleaners, folding origami, building LEGO, or knitting scarves. Crafting helps me relax and focus, and I often incorporate handmade elements into my design projects to add a unique, personal touch.
